Crystal Balls

This poem was written after a fun day in the garden blowing bubbles. Each puff brought new bubbles of opportunity, hopes and dreams.

I hope you enjoy reading as much as we enjoyed blowing bubbles.

Crystal Balls

Crystal balls - shimmer pink, silver and blue,

A promise of hopes and dreams to come true.

Soaring and sailing, bobbing on the breeze,

Straying to the dark, mysterious trees.

Crystal balls - more puffs of magical spheres,

A promise of joy, bursts from these foreseers.

Dogs barking, feet dashing, children’s laughter,

All sharing a happy, ever after.

Crystal balls - bubbles of delightful fun,

A promise to be cloaked in glowing sun.

Marigolds stretch their stems up to the sky,

And smile at them fondly as they float by.

Crystal balls - drifting away to the light,

A promise of a future shining bright.

Our bubble gleams in a halo of gold,

As the world lies in shadows, beyond our fold.
