Happy Anniversary

Ivory,

Winter light,

Faded into

Blue.

As the sleepy,

Setting sun,

Gave way

To murky dusk.

Your pearly breath,

Slowly twirled,

In soaring,

Silver curls.

Cold air ravaged

My raw skin,

And weary was

The world.

There -

Your smiling eyes

Searched mine.

I never lost

Their gaze.

This weary world

Is warm with you,

Ever since that

Winter's day.
